Welcome to the Reconciled Community, where God’s Love Has No Exceptions.

We pride ourselves on being the only Reconciling Ministries UMC worship service in Tallahassee, celebrating that LGBTQ+ persons are a good expression of God’s diverse creation and exist to advocate for the affirmation of all of God’s children in the Church and the world. We believe the earth is the Lord’s and it is our moral and biblical calling to be good stewards of Creation. Our beautiful, diverse community of faith includes all races, physical abilities, sexual orientations, nationalities, and ages, as all are loved by Jesus.

What to expect at service.

We show up just as we are and are greeted with a kind smile and welcome as we receive a name tag to help us connect. The casual atmosphere of Sanders Hall puts us at ease as we find our seats, and harmony fills the space when the praise band starts playing the opening song. We take a deep breath and let it out, feeling relaxed and at home.

Each week we have the opportunity to sing along with our talented band, share our prayer requests, joys and concerns, and hear an inspiring sermon that readies us for the week ahead. Then we join the United Methodist Church’s open table for holy communion, and close with a prayer that fills us with peace, readying us for what comes next.

After the service, everyone is welcome to Sunday Digest at a local restaurant to enjoy dinner and conversation as we get to know each other better and grow in our community of faith.

We welcome you to visit the Reconciled Contemporary Service, where God’s Love Has No Exceptions.
