March 13-15, 2020 ~ Seminole State Park This southwest Georgia park is on beautiful Lake Seminole, a 37,500-acre reservoir with excellent boating, fishing and birding. Cottages, many campsites and even picnic shelters sit near the water’s edge, offering excellent views and quick access to the lake. Because the park surrounds a small cove, visitors usually enjoy smooth water for skiing and tubing. A sand swimming beach is also provided for lake lovers.

No prior camping experience is necessary. You must supply your own tent, bedding, Friday dinner and Sunday lunch. You may want to bring your bikes and helmets for under 16 too. We can provide you with a list of suggested camping pack list if you are a novice.

The camping fee covers the cost of the campsite, All Saturday and Sunday morning meals. Each family will share a campsite with another family. $35 per person, max $90 per family. Or, plan to join us for the day — $5 per person per meal.

We practice communal camping. Everyone is expected to pitch in and help with their camp assignments, such as grocery shopping, transporting trailers, cooking, serving, kitchen clean up, or camp set up or break down. This allows everyone the opportunity to have some down time and have a positive camping experience.

Check in time is 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Check out time is 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Our sites have been reserved, but you can reserve a site through the park system if you want to extend your stay. Once we have reached maximum capacity, we will start a waiting list, but also try to add more sites if needed. Payment will hold your spot!
