Chili Cook Off
We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who supported the youth at this year’s Chili Cook Off. We raised over $2300 for our summer mission trip! We also want to thank you for supporting the Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner which will help send students to Music Camp this Summer. Our thriving youth ministry would not be possible without your generosity of time, gifts, and prayers. THANK YOU!

Youth Sunday School Dream Team
On behalf of the entire youth group and the parents we would like to send a huge THANK YOU to Meg and Charlie Guyton for serving as the youth Sunday school teachers! It has been such a blessing to have Meg and Charlie volunteer their time, gifts, and witness. Do not be afraid, Meg and Charlie have not left us empty handed. A youth Sunday school Dream Team has been assembled with the greatest team that will rise up to the challenge and be the next group of Sunday school teachers! Don Griesheimer, Ted Rokitowski, Julie and William Hatfield, Nena Martinez, and Donna Crawford.
Easter Lily Sales
Easter Lily Sales will start Sunday March 1st. We will have a table on Sunday morning. Easter Lilies are $14 and can be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one. Thank you for supporting Saint Paul’s Youth and making our sanctuary beautiful for Easter!
SAINT PAUL’S YOUTH COVENANT…
As a youth group we are committed to being respectful to all that enters our doors. To show respect we will disconnect from our electronic devices (cell phones, iPads, Nooks, tablets, etc…) so we can connect with each other. We will support one another through encouragement, accountability and love. We recognize to fully commit to this we must be honest with each other and be present in one another’s lives!
During the school year, Saint Paul’s offers two worship experiences on Sunday mornings. Worship Services are at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Both are in the Sanctuary. During the summer we have one worship service at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. in Room 302
We encourage youth to share freely and to express doubts and questions as well as their beliefs. Our only rule is to show respect for one another. And we ALWAYS have snacks! Lesson topics include studies of what the Bible has to say about specific issues, looking at contemporary issues from a Christian perspective, and just about anything our youth want to discuss! Contact teachers Charlie Guyton, 599-9423, and Meg Guyton, 443-4175 for more information. (during the summer this class meets at 10:45 a.m.)
Every Sunday night from 4:15 – 5:15 p.m. our Youth Choir meets in choir room. No experience is necessary and it is a rocking time to worship and praise God through music! Please contact the wonderful Gaye Herndon at [email protected].
Rooted Sunday Nights
Every Sunday night from 5:15 – 7:00 p.m. join us in the Parlor for fellowship, snack supper, games, and a message of faith. Middle and High small groups are a part of our evening. Bring yourself, bring a friend (or maybe 2), and bring an appetite.
Coming up in March:
On March 1st we are going on a hike at Tom Brown Park. Please show up at the church promptly at 2:00, so that we can ride the bus over. We will be back for youth choir at 4:30, and we will have regular Rooted at 5:15pm (everyone who stays will be attending choir).
We pray that everyone has a fun and SAFE spring break! Use this time to catch up on school work, get some much needed rest, and to spend time with your loved ones. We will not have Rooted on March 15th or March 22nd. This month we will talk about the importance of self care and self care strategies that we can do in our daily lives.
