Come be a Missionary With Us!

Here at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, we take our name seriously.  Saint Paul was the first missionary and we are working to become a church worthy of his name. For that reason, we take missions seriously. When Saint Paul's was formed in 1952, Bishop Branscomb challenged the congregation when he said: "Never lose your missionary zeal; when you do change your name!"

We have a number ways we do this. But first and foremost, we believe that all of us are called to the mission field. Our goal is to have each and every member to have a hands on missions experience every year. We believe every person should participate in a mission project during their lifetime.

We are working to make sure that our missions work as a church is not merely being an ATM for global and local missions ministries. How can you get your hands into missions? Watch for announcements in the bulletin and newsletter and look for a missions event can fit your schedule and your abilities.

PINE STRAW SALE!

Help support our primary fundraiser for missions at Saint Paul's!

Saint Paul’s Lay Mission Team will once again be selling and delivering pine straw, this year on March 9 & 10.  This has been our primary fundraiser for several years, and thanks to you and your support, has been quite successful.  We thank you for that past support, and hope you will purchase from us again this year.  You will get quality pine straw delivered at a reasonable price, and we will together raise the funds needed to carry out this years mission projects.  How often do we get the opportunity to purchase something we would buy anyway, and support God’s work at the same time?  Please complete the enclosed order form now, while it is fresh on your mind.  More forms are available in both Sanders Hall and in the office if you wish to share with your neighbors.  Orders for businesses are welcome as well.  Please drop off your form and check at the office, or give to a member of the mission team who will be available in Sanders Hall every Sunday beginning February 5.

Come by the church office to pick up an order form.  Complete the form, attach your check made out to Saint Paul’s with PINE STRAW clearly written in the memo section and bring or mail both to the church office or leave at the table in Sanders Hall.  This project has been very successful because of your support!  We hope you will continue to enjoy a lovely garden while supporting local, national, and international outreach ministries.
