Opportunities to be in service around the world
Join us Sunday, June 10th after the 11:00 worship service for an International Missions Dinner Extravaganza! There will be an international meal served by "celebrity waiters" along with a silent and live auction. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children with a limit of $35 per family. All money raised from the event will be used to support our 3 international mission projects - Haiti, Nicaragua, and our sister church in Yagaramus, Cuba.
Heifer International
The Heifer Project provides livestock to needy families around the world, including the U.S., to help people become self sufficient. Today, millions of people who were once hungry will be nourished by milk, eggs and fresh vegetables.
Families who for generations knew only poverty will be building new homes and starting businesses. Children who once headed out to the fields to do backbreaking work will be heading into schoolrooms to learn to read. And people who never thought they'd be in a position to help someone else will be experiencing the joy of charitable giving.
UMCOR Haiti Relief
We make health kits to send to Haiti and collect individual monetary donations to help in relief efforts.
Zambia New Life Center
Zambia New Life Center focuses on new church contruction, life sklls training, farm development, and computer lab training. The Center directs the PET shop which provides "personal energy trainsportation" for individuals with disabilities often related to land mine accidents.
