SAINT PAUL'S YOUTH ARE ON MISSION...TO CHANGE THE WORLD!
CURRENT MISSION PROJECTS
PROJECT 6-4-1
Saint Paul’s Youth and the Missions Committee are teaming up this year to become a part of the Florida Conference’s Project 6-4-1. Project 6-4-1 challenges Florida churches to be “committed to making a difference when disaster strikes” by preparing and storing 6 cleaning buckets for (4) 1 year (6-4-1). We have the buckets, and now we need your help to fill them! A list of needed items and sign-up sheets will be available in Sanders Hall each Sunday until we get those buckets filled. So come by and help us be prepared!
UPCOMING YOUTH MISSION FUNDRAISERS
STOCKHOLDERS
Invest in our Youth and their Summer Missions to change the world through Christ by becoming a "stockholder" this May. Stockholders will support an individual youth through a monetary donation and prayer. In return, that youth will correspond with their stockholder before, during, and after their mission trip. Then, at the end of the summer, all Stockholders will be invited to be served by our Youth at a Stockholders' Dinner (August 21) during which the youth will share pictures and stories about their experiences. Each share of stock is $20. Half-shares can also be purchased for $10.
SUMMER 2010 MISSION TRIPS
SENIOR HIGH - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Our Senior High Youth (grades 10-12) will travel to Bombita, Dominican Republic this June 19-26 in order to serve the local youth. We will have the opportunity to organize and facilitate a Youth Camp experience for the youth in Bombita and the surrounding towns. Participants are required to attend monthly meetings with the purpose of bonding our team and learning more about the people, history, and culture of the Dominican Republic.
MIDDLE HIGH - BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA
The Middle High Youth (grades 6-9) will participate in urban ministry in Birmingham, Alabama through the organization YouthWorks in August. Participants will have the opportunity to perform a variety of services for different agencies in downtown Birmingham. This experience is designed to demonstrate the many types of mission work and ministry that are available. Participants are required to participate in one local service project (TBA) together before the trip.
