SAINT PAUL'S YOUNG ADULTS

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES @ SAINT PAUL'S UMC

Why are we doing this? Here's the reason: many young adults in today's society don't feel that they have a place in the church. Because of this the voice of this generation has penetrated the leadership of today's church less and less. The church is a place to ask our existential questions (why am I here? What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose?). It is a place to meet God and hear the plight, ideas, and journeys of other people looking for depth. Another purpose is that we all have an inclination to help others, we are pretty privileged in our society and we hold an innate need within us to give back. We do mission projects and in getting our hands dirty together we will make a real difference. Participating in community of faith and mission projects helps us to answer those hard existential questions. We proclaim with faith that all things work for good!

Sunday School

A Place of Welcome Sunday School class meets at 9:45AM in Room 203.  This is a group of folks who love learning more about God through great discussion, great friendships and great fun.  Some are married and some are not.  Some have Kids and some have kids (dogs) and some have neither.  Most of all, this group is glad to have found a "place" in the church where they feel comfortable and can grow in their faith.  Hope you will visit us!
