What a great week we had with over 250 kids, youth and volunteers involved in our 2007 VBS program!!  It was AWESOME!!  We made lots of friends with many from our community as well as our church.  

Let's recap the week. We started the day off at the 'Lift Off Rally' assembly where they laughed and learned along with Skylar, the scampering, skimming, scholarly, skillful and squealing Sky Squirrel, and Scoop, the eager reporter and shutterbug for the Hot Air Ballyhoo newspaper.  Skylar and Scoop provides our kids with a close-up look at the world of hot air balloons and an even closer look at their relationship with God.

We explored daily Flight Plans to follow God, trust God, listen to God, repent and serve others in Jesus' name.

An emphasis on prayer was a special component of this year's program as the children learned daily Power Prayers and shared prayer requests with each other.

We closed out the VBS week with an awesome Worship Celebration in our sanctuary Sunday morning at the 11:00 Worship hour.  Pastor Clarke and even Skylar introduced the kids as the whole VBS crew gave a musical presentation of their favorite songs... and danced along while a slideshow showed our congregation a sampling of the fun we had. 

We are so blessed and appreciate all the love everyone showed to these kids this week.  Many thanks to all who had a part.
